Recently I had a conservatory built on the back of my house. I cannot explain what a difference it has made to my life and it has more than doubled the downstairs floorspace of my home. The conservatory was built on top of the old patio. I have been very lucky in that my father is a builder and he built the conservatory for me. When we were planning the conservatory I said to my father that I was still keen to have a patio in the garden so that we could put garden furniture on it and sit outside.
