I recently stayed in the most fabulous hotel in Italy. It was all you would expect from a top notch hotel in that country. Beautiful, opulent furniture, frescoed ceilings giving a sense of the past yet the hotel included all the modern conveniences the contemporary traveller needs. Walk In Shower Enclosures were standard in every room along with a free mini bar, huge bottles of toiletries and the most luxurious bathrobes I have ever seen. You really feel as though you are in the most capable of hands and it is great to feel so well looked after. As well as all the conveniences in the room, the hotel as well contained all we needed. There was a beautiful roof terrace were we sat each night enjoying a drink and nibbles before venturing out for our dinner for the evening. Once outside, the choice for food options was staggering. I know it`s a cliché but you really would struggle to find bad food in Italy. Every single restaurant we tried was absolutely outstanding.
