Going Public
By Maddy Cranley

A recent welcome break in routine saw me on an airplane to Philadelphia. This destination may not be everyone`s idea of a restful spot, but I happen to like the big city. Philadelphia, with its wonderful historical sites comfortably settled in a busy urban center, is a rather pleasant venue in which to spend a few days. When I travel, with the exception of a long car journey, I purposely do not take along any kind of knitting or craft work. Since I have the distinct pleasure of blurred boundaries between everyday work and hobbies, I deliberately leave needles and yarn at home just to give my hands a break and allow my mind to focus on any novel ideas lurking in the marketplace.

There is supposedly an increase in commuter knitting - crafters taking along their projects while they ttravel to and fro. I decided to make a concentrated effort to notice if there was any commuter crafting happening on the route I was going to travel. I was looking not just for knitting but any type of craft that could be managed in the lap on a wiggling train or swerving bus.

Karndean Flooring
Tired of the tasteless cork tiles in your kitchen you finally decide to look at other types of flooring. It`s been quite a while since you gave your kitchen any sort of attention so why not provide it with a little TLC? Put your creative cap on and envisage how it could look with new Karndean Flooring in place. Beautiful flooring of this nature has the power to totally transform a kitchen interior and it will inject some much-needed style into the surroundings. Available in a choice of designs, Karndean Flooring is well respected in the industry. It is easy to maintain, looks amazing once it has been fitted and it will provide plenty of service over the years if it has been installed correctly. To ensure this happens it often pays to have the flooring installed professionally. Whilst it`s certainly possible to fit flooring of this nature yourself, Karndean products will benefit by being fitted professionally and any potential future problems can be eliminated as a direct result. Dated and dreary, the tiling in your kitchen is certainly letting the side down. Have it replaced with contemporary Karndean Flooring and your kitchen will look suitably stunning for many years to come.

Disinfectant Wipes
My friend is absolutely obsessive about hygiene and seems to spend her entire life cleaning her home. She wipes down the surfaces in her house at least twice a day and will only use Disinfectant Wipes

Sun Awnings
Awning is a secondary structure stretched out of the window or doors to control the direct sun beams. It is normally made up of canvas, cotton or polyester yarn, or vinyl laminated to polyester fabric. A light frame of aluminium, iron, steel, wood or transparent material holds the awning very tightly. The frame may be a struss frame, a space frame or a planar frame. Sun Awnings may be made up of aluminium or other light metals where the awning has to fight against huge snow fall or strong and speedy wind. Sun Awnings are also used like a canopy in open air restaurants, lawns, party areas etc to control the direct attack of sunlight. In many cases, especially in business areas, restaurants the awning can be cleverly used as the advertising areas. Quickfit Blinds has a wide range of Sun Awnings and other blinding materials.
